Who are we?

The River Valley Junior Golf Club-Edmonton (RVJGC-E) is a non-profit organization whose objectives are:

• to promote the game of golf among the youth of Edmonton

  and surrounding area;

 

• to provide the opportunity to play the game of golf at an affordable

  rate for the youth of Edmonton ;

 

• to educate the youth of Edmonton about the rules of the

  game of golf and associated etiquette;

 

• to provide an opportunity for junior golfers to develop their

  skills in a supportive environment; and,

 

• to provide grants or scholarships to groups or individuals

  whose interests promote the objects of the River Valley

  Junior Golf Club – Edmonton .

The RVJGC-E was formed in 2002 and has had more than 100 members each year.

To date, the RVJGC-E has worked alongside the City of Edmonton to provide junior golfers the opportunity to learn about and play golf. We attempt to work with all levels of players whose goals range from recreational to competitive play. We strive to be many things to many people while at all times stressing the “Spirit of the Game” within a reasonable cost structure.  

It is only through the dedication and time of our many volunteers that we are able to achieve our goals.
